Overpriced and poorly maintained - the interior was messy and unclean throughout.
Charging $29 for a regular beef pho is unreasonable. Beef also was uncooked, bloody & fishy
I’d recommend visiting An Restaurant in Bankstown which offers far superior quality and value.

We ordered the king of pho and the yum yum chicken. The taste was delicious and the hot soup feels particularly tasty in the winter time.
The owner is very friendly. One minor thing is the waiting time is slightly longer but overall the experience is very good

We had a beef pho in a normal bowl. The raw beef made the soup 'not-so-hot' in a very short time. Probably this scenario won't happen with the hot stone bowl.
It was very tasty and the portion was very big.
If I have a chance to visit again I will choose the hot stone bowl.

A unique dining experience.
King of Pho only sells three pho with extras and drinks. We liked the simple menu with quality ingredients although wagyu is not cheap. Service was great.
1. Chicken pho
2. Homemade beef wagyu pho. Tastes similar to the best beef pho we've had in Sydney but costs more.
3. King of Pho beef wagyu and egg in a superheated stone bowl. This is a dining RITUAL (server made sure I did it properly) and tastes much richer than other beef pho. The fresh beef fat flavour is obvious followed by a sweetness that makes this a different dish. Definitely worth spending an additional $10 to try it. The stone bowl kept the soup hot until the last spoonful.

This hidden gem of a Pho restaurant is an absolute must-visit—its rich, slow-simmered beef broth, slippery rice noodles, tender beef slices, and delicious Vietnamese spring rolls paired with smooth iced coffee, plus the cozy atmosphere and friendly service, make it worth revisiting again and again!

This place is absolutely rockin'. The beef broth, out of this world, limited menu, means they are just perfecting those few items and doing it very well. The beef is top quality which i love, proper beef, the chilli sauce delightful, and noodles so fresh and melt in the mouth. Have been to the venue and ordered it takeaway and it is still the same quality which I love. Worth every dollar !!

A restaurant with only 3 items on the menu must be good! The broth is great and Jacob's creek meat is truly exceptional. The chicken is also cooked to perfection. Portion is also generous. Note that the price is on the more expensive end but it's worth trying. The only disappointment is that the meatballs were sold out. Service can only be more attentive but with a small shop and limited staff I can understand.

Absolutely loved our visit to King of pho! The pho was rich, aromatic, and full of authentic flavour — you can tell the broth has been slow-cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, and the fresh herbs and condiments made it even better. Staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommend King of Pho for anyone craving genuine Vietnamese comfort food! The photo was the aftermath!

The noodles were okay, but justify for the price, the taste was pretty average. Not bad, just nothing that really stood out or made me want to come back.
They don’t offer lemon and said it would overpower the flavour of the beef and broth, which felt a bit odd considering they do provide chilli and sweet chilli sauce — those flavours are definitely stronger than lemon.
We went for lunch on the weekend and there was only one person doing both the cashier and cooking. The place felt a bit understaffed and messy, with quite a few plates left uncleared.

I love pho and this is quite an interesting place.
1st time here and they must be very confident with their dishes. Only 4 dishes on the menu - $35 king beef pho, $27 beef pho, $24 chicken pho & $14 fry chicken.
There’s no wash room for dine in customer (may require key to use the building’s WC. We didn’t ask so we don’t really know).
There’s no tap water to clean our palates in order to appreciate the taste better. (Depends on your dish, we’ve been to places where dishes come with sparkling water or sorbet just to do that).
My boss ordered the $27 beef pho & I had the $24 chicken pho. Both broth are good, kinda clean sweet taste but not “wow”. Still one of the best broth we had around Sydney area.
Beef is good, juicy, sweet & tender, but we can’t tell for sure it’s wagyu.
Chicken is good too, juicy, lean with just a little skin (personal preference: skin & fat are the most favoured part).
We also can’t tell the difference of using “organic bean sprouts”.
They don’t use lemon/lime. But we found lemon/lime enhanced the favour, increases layers & depth to the taste.
That’s why usually we 1st add bean sprouts, taste the broth, then add lemon/lime, taste the broth again, then add chili w/o touching any other sauce thereafter.
We used all the sauce this time here and still missing something.
Size is a bit small. Usually my boss would ask me to finish her beef pho. Not this time. Naturally I still got room for a Big Mac after I finished my chicken pho. (Must be fine dining… everything taste better as long as you’re still hungry, ha ha! XD)
Unique? Yes.
Expensive? Yes.
Better than others? Maybe, depends.
Will we be back? Maybe, with so many good choices around this neighbourhood, I wouldn’t expect revisiting any time soon.
Would I recommend them to pho lover like me? Yes. Taste is very personal T4 you gotta try & see for yourself. I would have no doubt this chef had put his/her heart in their cooking (while others put their foot instead XD sorry for my cooking joke)
Sep 26 2025-tried the $35 King of Pho today.
It use stoneware bowl makes the broth boiling hot, making it taste very good. So their Step 1 2 3 make sense. You’re literally cooking the beef, bean spouts & noodles yourself like a Shabu Shabu.
The problem is there’s no warming device underneath so after you throw everything in as Step 3, the broth cool down significantly. Ended up it’s not much different from the $27 homemade pho.
Another issue is the seat. The foam in the cushion had been completely flattened so I was sitting thru the cushion & on the wooden board with screws on it the whole time. So my butt hurts!!!
Oct 28 2025 beef is still tender but broth no longer sweet, became bland.
New price, it’s $29 homemade pho now!
Can’t help wandering, with the new taste and new price, what is their competitive advantage?
And the chair didn’t improve.

Amazing beef pho. Looks expensive but they do give a lot more meat than other places. And the meat! Super tender and flavourful. The broth was dark and flavourful but easy to drink.
Definitely a top 5 in Sydney for me anyway.

A simple menu that suggests correctly that they know what they are doing. They served some of the best pho I have had. The flavour is authentic and natural tasting. The beef broth is rich while the chicken broth is more delicate, both are aromatic and lovely. The noodles are also delicious and the toppings are simple and not overpowering.

I will start by saying it is a little pricey for Pho but his damn it’s tasty! I had the classic beef pho and the wagyu beef was unbelievably tender, juicy and full of flavour! As was the broth. It really is premium wagyu.
The service, setting and feel is very simple and you can see that all of the care goes into the food and the ingredients.
Expensive but to be honest worth it
